Grants for Greater Manhattan Grant Program

The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation (GMCF) annually invites nonprofit, tax exempt organizations serving the greater Manhattan, Kansas area to apply for grants for charitable purposes. The Grants Committee, made up of GMCF Trustees, reviews the applications and makes grant recommendations to the Executive Board in the following areas:
  • Arts and Humanities
  • Basic Human Needs and Disaster Relief
  • Children and Youth
  • Community Development and Leadership
  • Conservation, Preservation, and Beautification
  • Education
  • The Elderly
  • Health Care and Mental Health
Project funding up to $10,000 will be considered. Program expenses will take priority, but funding for operating expenses may be considered based on monies available.
